The house is situated less than a five minute walk from the bustling town centre with excellent bars and restaurants. Callander, often known as Rob Roy country lies in an area of outstanding beauty with easy access for day trips to the beautiful Lochs and Glens. Stay in town and there are walks to Bracklinn Falls or Callander Crags, with stunning views. The area offers many pursuits for visitors including walking cycling and fishing. We are within easy access to Glasgow, Edinburgh and Perth.

Aberfoyle, 20 minutes away is base for the popular “go ape” assault course. Great fun for all the family

Blairdrummond, home of the safari park and Briarlands farm outdoor childrens play barns  is 15 minutes away

Stirling Castle, The Wallace Monument, Bannockburn Heritage centre and Old Town Jail all within 20 minute drive from Callander

The Antique Centre in Doune is a 10 minute journey, joined with a visit to the famous Doune Castle (Monty Python fame)also the local distillery in Deanston which holds tours suitable for the whole family

Three Bicycle hire shops are nearby, to take advantage of being on the National Cycle Route 7, which gives safe off road cycle routes for the whole family however experienced.

Rednock Farm is 15 minutes away, where you can go horse riding in the hills or try Segway riding.

McLaren Leisure centre has a pool for the whole family, gym, badminton, squash, wall climbing, and tennis.

Fishing permits available locally for  Loch Vennacher, Lake of Menteith and River Teith to name a few
